All For One And One For All!

All for one and one for all! A saying made famous by a group call the three Musketeers. This has a great meaning for us and the church. Jesus made it very plain that He intended His church to be unified. We have been baptized my one Spirit into one body. He and the Father are one, just as we are in Him and He is in us making us one with Him. As a local church body we must be unified. We must support one another, if one hurts we all hurt. We must do our part in supporting the church, financially, our attendance, as well as our service. We must NEVER speak evil or gossip about anyone, especially our fellow church members. All for one and one for all, that's our LFC motto.

Ressurrection Sunday

Resurrection Sunday is upon us, the greatest day for mankind. Jesus rose from the grave, defeating death, hell, and the grave. Romans 6:4 tells us, “... just as Christ was raised form the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

Slow Down!

Daniel prophesied in Daniel 12:4, “...the time of the end; many shall run to an fro, and knowledge shall increase.” This sounds like today. This deception of running to and fro has infiltrated the church. Many people are too busy to worship God, to attend church to study the Bible. Too much natural activity. Slow down. Think about what is really important. Only the spiritual has lasting benefits. The increased knowledge, internet, Facebook, TV, entertainment has drawn many away from the important knowledge we need, the Word. Ephesians 5:16 says, “ redeeming the time.” Time is valuable you can never get it back, use it wisely.

The "New Church"

Proverbs 22;28 Says, "Do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have set." We have been given the Word of God by holy men of God, we have been given just standards to live by by our fore fathers. The "new church" age seek to change the bible to fit our society. They say the Bible is out of touch with the 21st century. I say nonsense! The Bible is for all ages, all peoples, and all times. We must not try to change the one verse. Even Jesus warns us not to add or take away anything from the Bible. Make your life fit into God's Word., don't try to make God's Word fit into your life style. He set the standards, live by them and enjoy life!
